Una delle cose che incantano della Sardegna è scoprire il verde intenso ed inaspettato dei suoi boschi: un patrimonio di straordinario valore ambientale. Per valorizzare tutto questo nasce il Parco Nazionale del Gennargentu che, insieme agli otto Parchi regionali ed alle oasi florofaunistiche, darà vita ad un sistema di aree protette di più di mezzo milione di ettari, uno dei più vasti di tutto il Mediterraneo.

To discover the deep and unexpected green colour of the Sardinian woods is one of the delights of this island and part of its extraordinary environmental inheritage. In order to bring it out, the National Park of Gennargentu was founded. This park, together with the other eight Regional Parks, is part of a network of protected areas comprising more than half a million hectares, one of the largest such networks in the Mediterranean area.
